Local Immigration Partnership Conference


The 2012 Local Immigration Partnership Conference was held in Toronto from February 8-10. It brought together researchers, delegates from organizations and municipalities involved in delivery of the LIPs and government officials.  The goals of the conference were to learn from research studies, to discuss challenges and strategies for action, and to obtain a better understanding of planned evaluations and assessment methods. The conference was jointly supported by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, Ontario Region and the Welcoming Communities Initiative.
