P2P Workshop on Attraction, Retention, and Integration of Immigrants in Smaller Communities

Sheraton Hotel, St John’s, Newfoundland

The Pathways to Prosperity, in partnership with the Atlantic Region Association of Immigrant Serving Agencies and the Association for New Canadians, will be hosting a workshop on Attraction, Retention, and Integration of Immigrants in Smaller Communities on October 7, 2016 at the Sheraton Hotel in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

The workshop will explore challenges and promising practices for effectively attracting, retaining, and supporting the economic, social, and civic/political integration of immigrants in smaller communities in ways that improve newcomer outcomes and benefit the communities in which newcomers settle. Through panel presentations, moderated discussions, and breakout sessions, we will share initiatives, strategies and experiences of immigrants, employers, service providers, researchers, and governments.
