Pathways to Prosperity: Canada

Welcome to the new Pathway to Prosperity (P2P) network of websites.  As a pan-Canadian partnership, we regard the network of websites as one of our main vehicles for communicating important information to our extended and dispersed community of scholars, agency service providers, governments, and other institutions with similar or complementary interests.  Our websites will publish articles in their original language, either English or French, or both.  A parallel network of French websites is also planned and will become active by month’s end.  The French sites will feature all navigation controls in French as well as material that has been organized to give primacy to French.

Readers of the websites will notice that a number of site topic areas are still under development.   This reflects the state of the P2P project rather than the state of the websites.  Various project structures – including the project’s governance machinery and the recruitment of members to boards, committees and forums – are still being fleshed out, a process that will continue for several months.  Most importantly, the P2P’s overall research agenda is still under construction as the Research of Interest section makes clear.   We would greatly welcome your comments and suggestions concerning the new websites and how we might better serve you.

Bienvenue sur le nouveau réseau de sites Web de Voies vers la Prospérité (VVP). En tant que partenariat pancanadien, nous considérons ce réseau de sites Web comme un de nos principaux outils pour communiquer des informations importantes à notre communauté élargie et dispersée de chercheurs, pourvoyeurs de services, gouvernements, et autres organismes aux intérêts similaires ou complémentaires. Nos sites Web publieront des articles dans la langue originale dans laquelle ils auront été écrits, soit en français ou en anglais, soit les deux. Un réseau parallèle de sites Web en français est également planifié et sera actif à la fin du mois. Les sites en français offriront des outils de navigation en français ainsi que du matériel organisé pour donner la priorité au français.

Les lecteurs des sites Web remarqueront qu’un certain nombre de champs spécifiques sont toujours en construction. Ceci reflète l’état du projet VVP plus que l’état des sites Web eux-mêmes. Plusieurs structures du projet – y compris la structure de gouvernance et le recrutement des membres sur les conseils, comités et forums – sont toujours en chantier, et ce processus continuera pour quelques mois encore. Plus important, le programme général de recherche de VVP est toujours en construction comme l’explique la section Recherche d’Intérêt. Nous accueillerons très favorablement vos commentaires et suggestions concernant les nouveaux sites Web et souhaitons pouvoir mieux vous servir.
