Centre for Refugee Studies Professional Development Course on Refugee & Forced Migration Issues

The Centre for Refugee Studies (CRS) will offer its annual professional development course on refugees and forced migration this year from May 9th to 13th, 2016.
This internationally acclaimed, non-credit course provides in-depth, topical information for people working with and for forced migrants. This is an ideal opportunity for those who are new to working with refugees to get a focused, in-depth look at a range of forced migration issues. It is equally relevant for individuals who work in the sector to network with others working in different contexts/countries. Invited speakers this year will cover topics ranging from health care to sexual minority rights to refugee determination in Canada to sponsorship.
The Summer Course is housed within the Centre for Refugee Studies (CRS), York University. All participants who complete the full course receive a York University Centre for Refugee Studies Summer Course Certificate.
